How to cover a cake with fondant

Steps     Step 1Prepare cake by lightly covering with buttercream icing. Step 2Before rolling out fondant, knead it until it is a workable consistency. If fondant is sticky, knead in alittle maizena (cornstarch). Lightly dust your smooth work surface and your rolling pin withmaizena to prevent sticking. Roll out fondant sized to your cake. To keep fondant from sticking, liftand move as you roll. Add more maizena if needed. Step 3Gently lift fondant over rolling pin or slip cake board under fondant to move and position on cake.
